After The Voice began posting teasers about a new coach on social media, including hints featuring a cowboy hat, a duck, and a mustache, fans quickly picked up that it would be a country music artist. While fans discussed who the hints could be about (some thought it was Lainey Wilson, her fiancee’s nickname is Duck), there was only one obvious answer to the clues: Riley Green! Riley frequently wears cowboy hats, is an avid lover of duck hunting (his instagram username is rileyduckman), and his mustache is a staple part of his look.

Green is the third coach announced for season 30 of The Voice. Previous judges Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine will return again this season. A possible fourth judge is yet to be revealed.

Riley recently began his Cowboy As It Gets Tour alongside Justin Moore, and will perform at the ACM Awards on May 17, where he is nominated for four awards: Album of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Artist-Songwriter of the Year, and Music Event of the Year. He will also be headlining at ACM Lifting Lives Country on the Green: Riley Green & Friends. This ACM week event on May 15 will give all proceeds to benefit ACM Lifting Lives, the philanthropic partner of the Academy of Country Music, dedicated to improving lives through the power of music.

We can’t wait to watch Riley turn his chair and coach The Voice‘s new season of talent. Do you want to be on Team Riley?
