Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” is not slowing down any time soon! Ella earned her fifth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. According to Billboard Charts, she is now the second woman this decade to lead the Hot 100 with an initial No. 1 on her own for at least 5 weeks, after Olivia Rodrigo. Additionally, “Choosin’ Texas” is also No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart for the 19th week.
The song’s rise back to No. 1 comes after the release of the “Choosin’ Texas” music video, starring Ella Langley and featuring Luke Grimes, Kaitlin Butts, Ava Phillippe, and many other cameos. The video was filmed in Fort Worth, Texas at Stagecoach Ballroom.
“Choosin’ Texas” is the lead single from Ella’s sophomore album “Dandelion,” which releases this Friday, April 10.
