As the winner of the 2026 ACM Songwriter of the Year Award, this is Jessie Jo Dillon’s third Songwriter of the Year win (2026, 2025, 2024). She makes history as the first songwriter to win Songwriter of the Year three times, let alone for three consecutive years!
The 7-time Grammy nominee has recently been recognized at the 2026 CMA Triple Play Awards for writing three No. 1 songs in one calendar year: “Lies Lies Lies” (Morgan Wallen), “Am I Okay?” (Megan Moroney), and “Happen To Me” (Russell Dickerson).
Dillon has also written chart toppers for Jelly Roll (“Halfway To Hell”), Tyler Hubbard (“Back Then Right Now”), Old Dominion (“Memory Lane”), Keith Urban (“Messed Up As Me”), Maren Morris (“Rich”), Cole Swindell (“Break Up In The End”), and Dan + Shay feat. Dillon is also nominated for Song of the Year with “Am I Okay?” by Megan Moroney, alongside Moroney and Luke Laird.
Jessie Jo Dillon is the founder of Gatsby Records, a record label under MCA. Gatsby Records is the home of rising country star Carter Faith, whose debut album, Cherry Valley, is nominated for Album of the Year.
